What we collect

• Email address submitted through the waitlist form.
• The date and time the email address joined the waitlist.
• Website analytics, including visitor ID, visit ID, page path, referrer, approximate country, browser user agent, visit time, and approximate visit duration.
• Technical request data that may be created by hosting and database providers, such as IP address, request metadata, and error logs.

How we collect and hold it

• Directly from you when you type your email address into the waitlist form.
• Automatically from your browser when the website loads or records a visit.
• In browser local storage, where a visitor ID may be stored.
• In cloud systems used to host the website, store waitlist records, and send emails.

Why we collect it

• To add you to the Sarosi launch waitlist.
• To send launch updates and notify you when Sarosi is available on the App Store.
• To measure website visits and waitlist signups.
• To operate the website, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations.

No law requires you to provide your email address. If you do not provide it, Sarosi cannot add you to the waitlist or email you about launch.

Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

Personal information may be disclosed to:

• cloud hosting, database, analytics, and email service providers used to operate Sarosi;
• professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties where required or authorised by law.

Overseas disclosure

Because Sarosi uses cloud service providers, personal information may be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States, the European Union, or other countries where those providers operate.

Launch emails

If you join the waitlist, Sarosi may send you launch emails. Commercial electronic messages from Sarosi will identify the sender, include current contact details, and include a working unsubscribe option where required by Australian spam laws. Unsubscribe requests will be honoured within 5 working days where the Spam Act applies.

Access, correction, and complaints

You may request access to personal information Sarosi holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or make a privacy complaint using the contact details above. Sarosi will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied and Australian privacy law applies, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
